Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-10-05
1. Scope and provider
These terms govern your use of GetPingd. The provider is listed in the imprint. By using the service you accept these terms.
2. What GetPingd does
GetPingd sends Discord notifications when streamers go live or publish content, and offers streaming tools such as a now playing overlay. The privacy policy describes what data is processed for each function: privacy policy.
3. Early-stage notice
GetPingd is an early-stage product. Functions can change, pause or be removed at any time. Planned functions described on the website, such as login, may not be active yet.
4. Accounts and third-party logins
Where login is offered, it runs through third-party platforms (Twitch, Discord, Kick or Google). You are responsible for your accounts on those platforms and for keeping your credentials safe. You are also responsible for the Discord servers and channels you connect.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- send no spam pings, harassment or unlawful content through the service,
- not abuse the APIs of Discord, Twitch, Kick, YouTube or Spotify,
- follow each platform own terms in addition to these terms,
- not circumvent limits, copy the service to mislead others, or interfere with its operation.
6. Third-party services
GetPingd builds on third-party platforms. Their terms apply in addition to these terms. GetPingd is not affiliated with Discord, Twitch, Kick, YouTube, Google or Spotify, and is not responsible for their services, outages or rule changes.
7. Availability and liability
The service is currently free of charge and provided as is. We do not guarantee uptime, delivery speed or permanent availability of any function.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, or under mandatory statutory law. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties, limited to foreseeable typical damage. Beyond that, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
8. Termination and data deletion
You can stop using the service at any time by removing the bot from your Discord server and disconnecting linked accounts. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms. Stored data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will publish the new version here with a new date. Material changes will be pointed out on the website before they take effect. If you do not agree, stop using the service.
10. Final provisions
German law applies. If you are a consumer resident in another country, mandatory consumer protection of your home country remains unaffected. If one clause of these terms is invalid, the rest stays in force.
